Hello my friends! Yesterday was a wonderful day for sex, so wonderful that I actually brought myself to finally post something in this blog. The reason? The International Sex And So Much More Show! Basically, it’s a big trade show that’s been going on in Canada for years, and they decided to try it in the US, and guess what the guinea pig city was: our very own Minneapolis! So yah, it was at the Minneapolis convention center, and boy was it awesome! There were a ton of booths, of course, just like any other trade show, but the content was a bit different: Deja Vu gentlemen’s club, erotic chocolates, belly dancing clothing and lessons, Flex Appeal (tagline: “awake your inner stripper), and tons of sex shops had huge displays of their merchandise. I was in heaven. Pure Pleasure, XXX Adult Superstore, Love Doctor and Fantasy Gifts were among the sex shops that were there. I was sad though that neither Sex World (the 2 story sex shop in the red light district in Minneapolis with the giant coin operated rideable penis) nor Smitten Kitten (the female oriented sex shop that did a seminar at Hamline last year) was at this large show tho.

Anyway, so my experience there was amazing. First of all, there was a big stage in the middle of it all with two jumbotrons. Paul and I got there just in time for the Burleque troope. They weren’t particularly good, the one solo dancer had no boobs and visible stretch marks… not the most attractive thing in the world. So for them, not so impressed. The thing that was really awesome? They had a woman with the stage name of “Kitty Meow” who was in full body black latex and a cat-woman-esque mask come out and do a routine. Wowowowow, it was insane. There was a bowl of milk at the front of the stage, and with fucked up techno blaring, she crawled up to it and started pouring it all over the black latex outfit and herself, rubbing it on her chest, etc. I think everyone there was not quite sure what to think; I meanwhile, was just in awe cuz I had never gotten to see anything like that in real life (I had been exposed to latex bondage before because one of my ex-boyfriends loved that stuff).

So that was my first awesome part, then next came when we decided to shop. We were walking around, and this guy at a booth asks if I could put his product on my hand. You know how in malls a salesperson will try and get you to try their lotion by asking to put it on your hand? Well, instead of fragrant lotion, he squirted a drop of lube on my fingertip! At first I’m like, no thank you, but then, upon rubbing the stuff between my fingers for a moment, then another moment, then another… I realized that this was incredibly good lube! So we went back over to the booth, thoroughly impressed and ready to buy, and when we got there, we saw that he had a little game set up called ’spin the chick’. Basically there was a little saucer sled rigged up to spin in a circle with a mat under it that had numbers like 2 oz, 4 oz, 8 oz, 16 oz, 32 oz. For $5 (the price of a 2 oz bottle) I could play and win whatever amount I landed on. So I played, a bunch of people gathered round and he haucked his product like any good salesman does. I landed on a 4 oz, and I won an 8 oz bottle for being a good contestant! It was awesome, and now I have more lube than I ever thought I would need.

Next we went back next to the stage area for one of the seminars that was starting. This one was titled “The Big O” seminar. Yah, this place was that awesome. The lecture itself was not too great cuz it was mainly two women talking about different products they sold for increasing probability of orgasms/ multiple orgasms, but it was cool anyway, they talked about different positions that help, which was neat. After that we went back to the stage where they had a belly dancer. She was fruckin awesome! Beautiful outfit and boy could she shake that thing! I was mesmerized to say the least. I’m so pissed that I couldn’t take pictures tho.

Before we left, we bought a 52 pack of cards with different ways to spice up the sex life. It looks like it will be a ton of fun, here’s the box:
